Casablanca-Settat: AREP launches 34 new projects worth over a billion dirhams

The Regional Project Execution Agency (AREP) of Casablanca-Settat is stepping up a gear. Work on 34 new projects, representing a total investment of over a billion dirhams, is due to start in October. The stated aim is to reinforce the ongoing momentum of programme execution across the region.

The current record shows an already sustained level of activity. Eleven sites are under construction at a total cost of around 377 million dirhams. Meanwhile, 14 projects have been completed, mobilising a budget of 247 million dirhams.

On the governance front, the agency remains committed to quality and information security. It has retained its ISO 9001 certification for quality management and ISO 27001 for information security management.

At the close of the latest session, the region’s wali and the committee chairman praised the achievements of recent months. They highlighted the positive momentum that characterises the agency’s work in supporting and delivering projects on the ground, stressing the need to keep up the effort.
